The puppies are now one week old and are going fast, all of the puppies have at least doubled their birth weight and size. Other than eating all the puppies do at this point is sleep but they are getting bigger every day and are very healthy puppies. Ivy is a great mom she feeds them on a regular bases and checks on them often. The puppies are eating so much that Ivy is eating a lot more food up to or more than 5 cups a day, which is 1.5 times the amount she used to eat before she had puppies. Below is a movie of what I like to call the "Feeding Frenzy" of the puppies eating one of their many meals.

All this eating has caused the puppies to grow like weeds, below you can take a look at what the puppies look like now.

Below is puppy number 1, a male, who already has some dark flecking appearing an indication that he will be very dark when he is older.

Below is puppy number 2, a male, he is not only the smallest in the litter but he is also the lightest puppy with no flecking appearing so far.

Below is puppy number 3, a female, who has doubled her birth weight and she is one of the larger puppies in the litter, is starting to get a little bit of flecking on her.

Below is puppy number 4, a female, who is starting to get some flecking as well, she loves to eat and is now the second largest in the litter.

Below is puppy number 5, a female, who a smaller of the female but she is eating well and is also getting some flecking.

Below is puppy number 6, a female, who has not only past the weight of the big boy but is right now the biggest in the litter.

Below is puppy number 7, a female, who is a smaller female as well but she gets her fill at dinner time, she is also starting to get some flecking.

Below is puppy number 8, a female, who has a fair amount of flecking for only one week an indication that she will be dark when she gets older.

The puppies have not open their eyes yet but it should be any day now. They are however moving around a lot and learning how to walk they don`t have it quite figured out yet but practice makes perfect as puppy number 1 demonstrates below:
