The puppies are now five weeks old, the puppies are going very fast and are becoming more active everyday. They love to run and play around the living room with each other. This is great for they puppies social development because they are learning how to interact with each other which will translate into other dogs when they are full grown. Below take a look at what the puppies look like now:
Below is puppy number 1, a male, who is the biggest in the litter. He loves to play with his litter mates and is discovering that toys are fun to play with too.
Below is puppy number 2, a male, the small boy and the only light puppy in the litter. He loves to play with toys and thinks they are greatest thing since slice bread.
Below is puppy number 3, a female, a small spunky girl. She loves people and playing with her litter mates and toys.
Below is puppy number 4, a female, who is one of the quietest in the litter but still likes to play. She loves to play, run around and is starting to discover toys.
Below is puppy number 5, a female, she is very sweet, loves to play and has taken a liking to feet and toes. We are trying to convince her that toes are not a play toy.
Below is puppy number 6, a female, who has discovered toys and thinks there are great. She also thinks that she should be a lap dog and nap on people instead of dog beds.
Below is puppy number 7, a female, who is the smallest in the litter but she doesn't let her mates push her around. She loves to play with toys, her litter mates as well as people in fact she growls and barks at you when the playing stops.
Below is puppy number 8, a female, an adventurous little girl who likes to get into mischief. When she is not exploring she loves to cuddle and be with people.
The puppies are starting to recognize my husband and and I and don't understand why we have to leave. However they love it when we get back. Below you can see the puppies reaction to my husband when he got home from work one day last week.
