Four Weeks Old

The girls are now four weeks old and full of trouble, they seem to feel that is defiantly time to leave the confinements of their box and explore the rest of the world, unfortunately they are still not great at walking on smooth surfaces yet so they do not very far. Also being four weeks old means it is time to start weaning from mom, they have had their first meal, some of them love their new food but other think that nothing will ever be better than mom's milk. You can see what the puppies look like now below.

Below is Tigerlilly she may be little but she will not that stop her, she is full of spunk now and plays with her litter mates as much as she can.  She is also loving how her dinner plate has expanded with the new gruel that has come her way.

Below is Daisy who has discovered people's laps and thinks that they are far better than any dog bed you can have, she would much rather be on a person's lap all day long than anywhere else. She does think however that there is no food better on this planet than mom's milk, why eat gruel when you can eat mom's milk?

Below is Rose a sweet little girl who seems to feel that she is old enough to leave the box now and explore the rest of the world with the big dogs, brave little girl. If only she could knock that obsession over mom's milk then maybe she would have more success in her escapes and stop chasing mom.

Below is Holly she is finding the joy's in playing with toys and with her litter mates, she loves to jump around and have fun. She will eat anything that comes her way (mom's milk or gruel) as long as she can still have playtime.

Below is Violet who likes to sit on people's laps however at the same time enjoy's her independence seems to think that she no longer needs mom anymore as long as she gets food, however if the opportunity arises that mom is giving food she wont let that just pass her by.
