The Start of a New Year

Sorry this is late however we have been busy with the new year activities.  The year has started off with lots of action for Ivy Piper and Ace.  Ivy was bred last month and the puppies are on the way. Piper is keeping up with her agility training and hunting for all creatures on the property, even though it is winter. Ace is having the time of his life at agility class already advancing to level 2.

Ivy is becoming a mother again we bred her one month ago and is showing all the signs of pregnancy. She has already put on 5 pounds in one month! has an increase apatite and is starting to show. All clear signs of pregnancy. Although it is too early to see the puppies we are expecting puppies at the end of February, keep following for updates.

Piper has taught us that you can taken the dog out of the hunt but you can't take the hunt out of the dog. Even though it is winter and not hunting season she is still hunting the yard everyday for all creatures big and small.  She doesn't find anything, it might be the weather, it might be that she keeping them off the property or both. However that does not seem to slow her down, see everyone trying to hunt squirrels form inside the house! Even Moby is starting to get in on the hunting action, patience guys spring is coming soon.

Ace has discovered the joys of agility and is loving going over jumps, hoops and frames.  Ace is already in level 2 and is learning new obstacles including the dog walk and new skills such as running though a tunnel under a frame.  Ace is showing that he is very brave and a fast learner taking on each new task with enthusiasm.  He is displaying all the signs of being a great agility competitor when he is older, see Ace having fun at agility below.
