Nine Weeks Old

The puppies are nine weeks old they have been introduced to bird wings, which was very popular, and they are finally old enough to go to their new homes. This puppies have had an exciting week because they were introduced to a bird wing for the first time, they were very pleased with the experience because birds are a pointers favorite thing. Also the puppies are ready to move on their new forever homes and will all be moving on in the next week.

Eight Weeks Old

I apologize for not posting the seven week old pictures, everyone in the house got sick so unfortunately the post got missed. Anyways the puppies are now eight weeks old and have had a very active two weeks. We have finally had some nicer weather so the puppies have finally been able to get outside. Also the puppies have had their first set of shots and been microchipped at the vet. It wont be long now until the puppies go to their new homes.

Six Weeks Old

The puppies are six weeks old, full of energy and have had their first trip outside. The puppies spend almost of their awake time eating and playing with each other, they all love to run and jump on each other. The weather hasn't been great but on the few nice days we have had in the past week the puppies have been able to get outside. Hopefully we will have more sunny days and less rain for more outdoor time in the future.

Five Weeks Old

We have made it to the half way point until the puppies go to their new homes but until then they have far more growing up to do. This past week the puppies have moved out of the whelping box and into a far bigger pen, giving them lots of room to run and play. They have also moved onto solid food which mom Piper is most happy about not to have them sucking off her anymore.

Four Weeks Old

The puppies are now four weeks old and they are walking, playing and eating solid food. The puppies are moving around so much that they are getting more difficult to take their pictures. See below what the puppies look like this week:

Three Weeks Old

The weeks are flying by and the puppies are already three weeks old. The pups have been very growing for the past week and are starting to walk around very well. They still spend most of their time eating and sleeping but are practicing walking as well as playing with each other. It wont be long until they are running around the yard.

Two Weeks Old

The puppies are already two weeks old and growing up fast they have all over doubled their birth weight and have opened their eyes. Everyone still loves to eat as much as they can from mom. See pictures of the puppies below

One Week Old

The puppies are already one week old and they have had a very active first week. The puppies have already had their first trip to the vet to get the tails docked and their dew claws removed. They have also been eating and growing like weeds with everyone already doubling their birth weights, below you can see what the puppies look like now.

Happy Birthday Puppies

Piper's puppies arrived this evening and she has successfully given birth to 6 puppies, 4 boys and 2 girls. Every litter we pick a theme to name the puppies for this litter the theme is Disney animated characters see below Piper and her puppies.
