Ivy has finally started her season!!! Which means it now to time breed her with Flocon. To help us with her breeding we are doing progesterone tests on Ivy, she went for her first one on Monday and is going for her second one today. The tests will determine the best time to breed her so that we can as many puppies as possible from her and so that the timing of the breeding is perfect to ensure that Ivy gets pregnant. Also this will let us know the best time to go to Montreal. Until we know when we are going to Montreal Ivy is keeping busy by fitting in many naps and training. As seen in the picture below it can very tiring for Ivy when your waiting to go on trip.

We are anxiously waiting for Ivy to go into season she was suppose to start at the beginning of February and now we are almost at the the end. Personally I am getting tired of waiting, the anticipation is killing me however I can't rush mother nature. There are signs though that Ivy will start her season soon. Braque Francais are very active and busy dogs however recently Ivy has been lethargic and sleeping more. This indicates that her body is starting to feel different.

We are so excited this year we are going to breed our Braque Francais Ivy to Chambois Braque Francais Flocon. We are currently waiting for Ivy to go into season then we are off to Montreal for the breeding. Until that time Ivy is keeping busy playing with her toys and exercising. Ivy loves to play will all toys it is good for her because it keeps her active and busy below she can be seen playing with one of her favorite toys.

Providing Ivy with toys is an excellent way form keeping her chewing or playing with items that she's not suppose to have. However she sometimes finds things around the house that are more entertaining. Such as the door stop.
